The newly renovated Copperhead Course now offers the finest putting surfaces available. Home of the Tampa Bay Classic, a new PGA Tour event coming October 16 – 22, 2000, Copperhead is ranked in America’s Copperheadtop resort courses by Golf Digest, and was selected as “Florida’s Finest” by Golf Week. This course is as striking as its namesake, in both beauty and challenge. With its pine tree lined fairways and rolling terrain this natural setting is more reminiscent of a Carolina layout rather than Florida’s West Coast.

From the tournament tees Copperhead presents a stern test of golf. At over 7,200 yards it is designed to test the skills of the most accomplished player. For those whose game is more recreational, the forward tee positions offer both challenge and reward. The Copperhead Practice Facility is located adjacent to the first hole and is complimentary to those with a tee time on the course.
